Assistant Manager - Trademark

We are hiring for 01x “Assistant Manager – Trademark” at Sanaullah & Co. based in Karachi, Pakistan. Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the entire trademark portfolio in Pakistan, including national and international registrations (e.g., Madrid Protocol filings designating Pakistan).
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end filing, examination, opposition, and registration process for new trademark applications with the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan).
• Ensure the timely and accurate renewal of all existing trademark registrations to maintain validity and statutory compliance.
• Conduct and analyze comprehensive trademark searches (similarity, availability, and distinctiveness) before launching new brands, products, or services.
• Implement and manage trademark watch services to proactively monitor and identify unauthorized use, infringement, and passing-off activities in the Pakistani market.
• Provide timely and accurate legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders (Marketing, R&D, Sales) on all matters related to brand naming, usage, packaging, advertising, and compliance with local trademark laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records of all trademark files, correspondence, official communications, and expenditures.
