Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage the inward logistics, return processing, packing operations, and related workflows, ensuring smooth inbound management, timely coordination with stakeholders, and achievement of operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound & Return Management
- Oversee daily inward shipments, goods receiving, and return processing.
- Ensure accuracy in verification, documentation, and storage of inbound materials.
- Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal teams for timely receipt and clearance.
- Sample Management
- Monitor receipt, allocation, and dispatch of product samples.
- Maintain proper records of sample requests and ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer & Inter-Department Coordination
- Act as a point of contact between inward/packing operations and other departments (Sales, Customer Support, Warehouse, etc.).
- Support customer-specific inward and return-related requirements.
- Team & Workflow Supervision
- Supervise packing and inward teams, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
- Allocate tasks, monitor workflow, and resolve process-related issues.
- Conduct training and support skill development of team members.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and monitor daily operational performance against defined KPIs.
- Prepare reports on inward status, return management, and packing efficiency.
- Recommend improvements for efficiency and cost optimization.
- WBG & RMA Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of WBG (Waybill Generation) and RMA (Return Material Authorization) activities.
- Ensure timely closure of open WBG and RMA cases.
- KPI Tracking & Reporting
- Track and report daily Inbound & Operations KPIs, including:
- Inward turnaround time
- Accuracy of inward documentation
- Packing productivity and error rate
- Return closure timelines
- Customer complaint resolution rate
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of inbound logistics, packing processes, and return management.
- Good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and reporting tools.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations Management.
- 4–6 years of experience in inbound, packing, or warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
