Assistant Marketing Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager Marketing, located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

The Assistant Manager Marketing will be responsible to manage, coordinate with regional staff and regional clients, and execute all activities related to tendering, bidding, and contracting processes, ensuring compliance with client requirements, company policies, and industry standards. The role requires strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills to secure new business opportunities through competitive bids and effective contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and track tenders and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from public and private sector clients.
  • Prepare, compile, and submit tender documents in compliance with technical, commercial, and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, legal, HR) to gather necessary inputs for bid preparation.
  • Maintain records of submitted tenders and monitor outcomes.

Contracting

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and timelines.
  • Highlight contractual risks and propose mitigations.
  • Maintain contract database and renewal schedules.

Market & Client Liaison

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies during pre-bid and post-bid stages.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, clarification sessions, and negotiations.
  • Support in building and maintaining client relationships for long-term business growth.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research related to tendering trends.
  • Provide regular reports on bids submitted, win/loss ratios, and revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain MIS (Management Information System) for tendering and contracting activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in tendering, contracting, or business development (preferably in security services, construction, or related industries).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, PPRA rules, and contracting practices.
  • Excellent drafting, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and client-handling abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tender management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
