- Planning and executing merchandising strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize sales and profitability
- Analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed decisions on product selection, pricing, and inventory management
- Developing and managing merchandising budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive sales and meet financial targets
- Conducting regular store visits and market research to evaluate product performance, identify opportunities, and address any potential issues
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Overseeing product presentation and visual merchandising to create compelling and attractive displays that enhance the overall shopping experience
- Monitoring competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the market and identify new opportunities for growth
- Developing and implementing promotional strategies and campaigns to drive customer engagement and increase footfall
- Providing guidance and direction to the merchandising team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven work environment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives
Key Requirements
- Candidate must have Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or textile graduate and gained 4 to 5 years of experience in merchandising from socks/hosiery division.
- Having strong negotiation & communication skills and can arrive at win-win solutions with partner.
- You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
