Job Description – Product Development Lead (Female Eastern Apparel)

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product development process for female eastern apparel.
• Research market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to guide collection development.
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize seasonal ranges, ensuring innovation and brand alignment.
• Source and select fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the sample development process, ensuring timely execution and alignment with design concepts.
• Review fits, styling, and finishing for all samples, making recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure smooth transition from development to bulk production.
• Maintain development timelines and track progress to ensure on-time collection launches.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product developers and designers.
• Ensure adherence to brand quality standards and pricing strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of product development experience in the retail fashion industry, specifically in female eastern wear.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Proven ability to translate fashion trends into commercially successful products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
