Role Overview

Progenesis IVF is in a phase of rapid expansion, and we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and streamline our procurement operations across existing and upcoming centers. The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring uninterrupted supply of medical and non-medical requirements in compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Management

Plan, manage, and oversee procurement of medical consumables, IVF equipment, pharmaceuticals, laboratory reagents, disposables, and non-medical supplies.

Ensure timely availability of materials to support clinical operations without disruption.

Develop procurement strategies aligned with organizational expansion plans.

Vendor & Contract Management

Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage reliable vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service-level agreements to achieve cost efficiency.

Maintain long-term vendor relationships while ensuring quality, compliance, and reliability.

Cost Control & Budgeting

Monitor procurement budgets and control costs without compromising quality or compliance.

Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure value-based purchasing and standardization across centers.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure all procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations, NABH standards, and internal policies.

Maintain proper documentation, purchase orders, invoices, and audit-ready records.

Coordinate with QA and clinical teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

Inventory & Logistics Management

Oversee inventory planning, stock control, and demand forecasting.

Prevent stock shortages, overstocking, and expiry-related losses.

Coordinate logistics, warehousing, and inter-center material transfers.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with medical, embryology, finance, operations, and expansion teams.

Support new center setup by managing procurement for equipment, furniture, and operational supplies.

Implement procurement SOPs and systems across all locations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

6–10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in healthcare, hospital, IVF, pharma, or diagnostic sectors.

Strong knowledge of medical procurement processes and regulatory standards.

Proven experience in handling procurement for multi-location operations or expansion projects.
