Job Description: Assistant Procurement Manager - Healthcare

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Procurement Manager with a background in healthcare procurement. You will support sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant supply of medical and general items.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers of medical equipment, consumables, and general supplies
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal procurement policies
- Track deliveries, manage purchase orders, and resolve supply issues
- Coordinate with clinical departments to understand procurement needs
- Maintain supplier records and assist in reporting and cost-control initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5 - 7 years procurement experience, preferably in hospitals or healthcare
- Knowledge of medical supplies, vendor management, and healthcare compliance
- Proficient in ERP/procurement systems and MS Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
