Assistant Procurement Manager

The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing procurement activities in alignment with our company's policies and objectives. They will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of quality goods and services. Additionally, they will assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize our supply chain and reduce costs.

  • Preparing comprehensive MIS reports and dashboards for procurement, including PowerBI, procurement automation, cost-saving analysis, and outsourcing strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting on Capex and project statuses, conducting monthly training sessions, and holding weekly meetings with stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of procurement plans and strategies.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function. Supporting team performance by undertaking activity as required, covering other team roles during absence, or during peaks in demand.
  • Monitoring complete procurement activity for your respective supplier & 3rd party vendors and further assuring smooth & efficient processes which will support the team.
  • Providing analysis and recommendations where targets have not been met.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain (Preferable)
  • 12– 15 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement position.
  • Strong understanding of Procurement practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong technical skills in MS Office, Power Bi, Excel and SAP
  • Proven experience in Procuring Raw Materials in a Manufacturing environment or similar
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English
  • Full UAE Driving License (Must Have)

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
