Assistant Professor

• Deliver undergraduate courses in strength and conditioning, exercise prescription, and athletic performance. • Lead practical, hands-on instruction in resistance training techniques, speed/agility drills, and performance testing. • Develop and update curriculum to align with best practices and professional standards (e.g., NSCA, UKSCA). • Supervise and mentor students in applied research and practical placements with sports teams. • Engage in applied scholarly activities related to strength and conditioning and human performance. • Build and maintain relationships with local sport organizations to facilitate student learning experiences. • Participate in departmental, college, and university service. Qualifications • Education: PhD in Strength & Conditioning, Sport Science, Kinesiology, or a related field. • Experience: o University-level teaching experience in strength and conditioning. o Extensive practical experience as a strength and conditioning coach, working with athletes or teams. o A strong record of applied research or professional contributions to the field. o Appropriate professional certification/s in S&C is highly recommended. • Skills: o Expertise in designing and implementing evidence-based strength and conditioning programs. o Proficiency in coaching and demonstrating a wide range of exercises and training modalities. o Familiarity with technologies used for athlete monitoring and performance analysis. o Proficiency in English is required; spoken Arabic is an advantage.
