Assistant Professor of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship Multiple Tracks

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MSE (MULTIPLE TRACKS)

The Department of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship (MS&E) at American University of Sharjah invites applicants for full time faculty positions at the Assistant Professor rank across three tracks:

• ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR (AND HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT) - Priority given to candidates with expertise in organizational behavior, including theories of management and organizational behavior, management and leadership development, group dynamics and team processes, and conflict management. Ability to teach courses in human resource management (e.g., strategic HRM, people analytics, training and development) is a plus.
• STRATEGY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP - Priority given to candidates with expertise in organizational policy and strategy, global strategy, competitive analysis, entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, business venture, innovation management and strategic change.
• STRATEGY AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE - Priority given to candidates with expertise in strategic management and corporate governance, such as organizational policy and strategy, global strategy, competitive analysis, executive compensation, ownership structures, boards of directors, and corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the department's research, teaching and service.
• Teach at undergraduate, MBA, and PhD levels.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in Management from an AACSB accredited university (ABD near completion considered).
• Great research potential with promising working papers aimed for top tier management journals; existing publications in top tier journals are a plus.
• Willingness and ability to teach across the curriculum at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
