Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of multifamily and commercial construction projects in Miami, Florida. This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to grow within a fast-paced General Contracting environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination from preconstruction through closeout
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure schedule adherence
  • Help develop and maintain project schedules and look-ahead plans
  • Review plans, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and completeness
  • Track procurement of materials and equipment
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication across stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in construction project management or related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience with multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use projects is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
