Job Title : Assistant Purchase Manager

Pay : 34000-35000

Location : Salt Lake

Key Result Areas for the Role:

• Procurement Execution

● Process Purchase Requests into Purchase Orders in a timely and accurate manner.

● Follow up with approved vendors to ensure materials are delivered as per schedule.

● Place service, labour & works contracts and follow-up with vendors to ensure timely execution

• Vendor Coordination & Relationship Management

● Maintain communication with suppliers regarding order status, delays and delivery confirmation.

● Support in vendor evaluation based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.

• Inventory & Material Tracking

● Coordinate with stores to track incoming materials and update inward register.

● Ensure MRNs (Material Receipt Notes) & MTCs (Material Test Certificates) are accurately maintained and mapped to P.Os.

• Cost Control & Rate Comparison

● Obtain multiple quotations and perform basic rate analysis before finalizing purchase.

● Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities through local vendor sourcing or alternative materials.

• Documentation & Compliance

● Ensure all purchase-related documentation is complete and audit-ready (POs, MRNs, invoices, delivery challans, E-way bills & MTCs).

● Maintain vendor database and records of transactions for reference and tracking.

• Coordination with Internal Teams

● Coordinate with factory, project, planning and site teams to align material availability with project needs.

● Escalate critical shortages or delays proactively to the Purchase & SCM Head.

• Import-Export & DGFT Operations

● Manage import/export documentation and coordination with CHA and consultants.

● Responsible for Advance License management and claiming MEIS/FTP benefits.

Assist in documentation for preparation of final balance sheet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹34,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
