The project:

This is a 1.5 million sq. ft. of R&D Centre & Factory project in electronic city, Bengaluru, comprising of 2 basements and five towers of different height each. It is an SEZ and Industrial construction project.

Reporting to the construction manager, responsible for day-to-day site activities inspection and monitoring.

Part of the construction team in a client-facing, project management consultancy role.

Responsible for the commercial management of work packages supporting package managers and reporting into the project quantity surveyors.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Checking measurements and bills submitted by contractors.
• Performing risk and value management and cost control functions.
• Assisting in the preparation of tender and contract documents.
• Preparing and evaluating costs for tenders, tender negations and recommendation report.
• Undertaking costs analysis project work.
• Identifying, evaluating and developing responses to commercial risks.
• Providing advice on contractual claims.
• Writing detailed progress/cost reports.
• Managing interim valuations and payment certificates.
• Managing the bonds, insurances and guarantee logs.
• Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in civil.
• Experience as a quantity surveyor or commercial manager role in delivering major projects.
