Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Roads & Infrastructure

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi, supporting the commercial and cost management functions of our roads and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in quantity surveying and be eager to grow their career in contract administration, cost control, and project support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and contract agreements.
• Support in reviewing and verifying subcontractor invoices, variations, and interim valuations.
• Help in monitoring project costs, budgets, and cash flows to ensure cost control.
• Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Support senior quantity surveyors in preparing claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) documentation.
• Compile data for cost reports, progress reports, and project financial tracking.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth flow of commercial and contractual information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Assistant QS, preferably in roads and infrastructure projects.
• Basic knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential); knowledge of cost management software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Based in UAE and available to join in Abu Dhabi.
