ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER

Business unit Purpose:
Linencraft is the region*s leading provider of industrial laundry services, processing over 500,000 linen and garment pieces daily. The business serves a diverse customer base that includes over 45 airline clients, 85 hospitality and healthcare customers, 4 institutional clients, 24 dedicated laundry outlets, and multiple hotel on-premises laundries. Operating within a high-volume, time-critical, and quality-sensitive environment, Linencraft*s operations span across complex laundry processes, dry cleaning, and logistics workflows.

Job Purpose:
The role supports in driving revenue growth by acquiring high-value clients and achieving sales targets aligned with Linencraft*s (LC) premium market positioning. The role involves client prospecting, solution customization, and relationship management, while collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Operations to finalize contracts and ensure smooth service delivery. Market research and actionable insights support strategic decision-making and sustained business growth.

Key Result Areas:
1.Identify and acquire high-value customers through lead generation, prospecting, and customized solution pitching contributing to Company*s growth strategy and increased production capacity.

2.Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets while ensuring pricing strategies upholds Company*s premium positioning and meet required Net Profit Margins (NPM).

3.Analyse market trends, lead maturity, and revenue forecasts to support the accuracy of sales forecasts and pipeline updates.

4.Conduct structured market research and competitive benchmarking to provide actionable insights that support strategic pricing and market positioning decisions.

5.Collaborate with the legal and commercial teams to draft, finalize, and maintain service agreements, ensuring timely and compliant contract execution.

6.Build and nurture strong post-sale client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention and identification opportunities for renewals or upselling.

7.Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Finance, Legal) to align on service delivery, operational feasibility, pricing validation, and debt management.

8.Support Finance in follow-ups on client receivables to facilitate timely collections without compromising positive client relations.

9.Act as a key point of contact for tailoring solutions to client-specific operational needs, especially during onboarding or service scale-up.

Represent Linencraft as a premium service provider during client interactions, industry events and other relevant engagements to strengthen the brand image.

Job Context:
The job holder plays a critical role in supporting this growth trajectory by securing long-term contracts with strategic clients across hospitality, healthcare, and corporate sectors.

The role requires a strong external orientation, with approximately 60% of the time spent in client-facing activities such as prospecting, solutioning, and relationship building. Internally, the job holder collaborates with teams across Legal, Finance, and Operations to finalize service agreements, support debt collection, and align on service delivery. The ability to navigate complex negotiations, customize client solutions, and provide actionable market insights is essential for success in this role.

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:
Education Qualification:
a)Bachelor*s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or Hotel Management (must have), with an understanding of Housekeeping/Rooms Operations or Laundry Services (preferred)

Work Experience:
a)Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in B2B Sales, Customer Service, or Operations within the hospitality, healthcare, or laundry service industry.

b)Proven ability to identify, pitch, and close high-value contracts with corporate clients.

c)Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and supporting account retention

d)Exposure to pricing, commercial negotiations, and working with legal or commercial teams on service agreements.

e)Familiarity with laundry operations and service delivery models, including linen leasing, is an added advantage.

f)Experience working in a fast-paced, client-centric environment with strong service quality expectations.

Skills:
a)Strong B2B sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

b)Proficiency in proposal development, pricing models, and contract handling.

c)Good understanding of laundry processes, customer SLAs, and industry benchmarks.

d)Competent in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.

e)Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

f)Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

g)Self-driven with a solution-oriented mindset.

h)Effective in cross-functional collaboration, especially with Finance, Legal, and Operations.

i)Multilingual skills are a plus, especially languages widely spoken in the UAE (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog).

Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory due to the external nature of the role.
