Assistant Sales Manager

Role OverviewAs an Assistant Sales Manager - Catering, you will play a key role in expanding our catering business and building strong relationships with clients. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi, you'll work in an ONSITE environment and contribute to delivering exceptional service and results in a dynamic hospitality sector. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase catering business revenue.
• Identify and engage prospective clients, maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
• Coordinate with kitchen and event operations to ensure seamless execution of catering events.
• Prepare compelling proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate and event partners.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales tactics.
• Work collaboratively with marketing teams to promote catering services and increase brand visibility.
• Meet and exceed set sales targets and regularly report on performance metrics.

Must have requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven sales experience in catering, hospitality, or events.
• Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients/events.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have requirements

• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC hospitality sector.
• Knowledge of Arabic language.
• Established network within the corporate or events industry in Abu Dhabi.
• Experience in digital marketing or social media promotion for catering services.
