Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager – Oil & Gas Materials & Equipment

Location: Qatar

Note: Only candidates currently residing in Qatar will be considered. Local hire only.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to support our sales and procurement activities for industrial materials and equipment within the Oil & Gas sector, with a focus on the GCC market.

The ideal candidate will assist in driving sales growth, managing client accounts, and supporting procurement operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing. You will work closely with senior management to implement strategies that align with our business goals in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company targets.

Identify and follow up on new business leads and project opportunities.

Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.

Support procurement activities by liaising with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Maintain strong communication and relationships with key clients and vendors.

Conduct competitor and market analysis to support pricing and positioning.

Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure smooth order execution.

Provide excellent customer service and post-sale support.

Work with the Sales Manager and other departments on marketing and promotional initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales and procurement of materials/equipment for the Oil & Gas industry (GCC experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of industrial materials, piping components, and equipment.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Must be currently residing in Qatar with valid documents.
