CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To facilitate, support & configure the assigned SAP Module(s) by ensuring full functionality support for the business process in providing decent solutions, reliable support and business value added training. ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Certified in programming & configuration. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of Support experience with 1 Full cycle Implementation experience. COMPETENCIES: Excellent task management, problem management and technical personnel management, Communication skills, Customer service oriented, Team player and team leader, Capable of taking a very disciplined and process driven approach to design & deliver solutions and services, Knowledge in primary and secondary SAP modules (MM/SD/PP/PM/FI/CO/HR/BI/WM).


Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems across on-premises and cloud environments. This role ensures system stability, performance, and security while supporting business-critical operations and leading technical initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Administration:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, Java stack).
  • Perform system refreshes, client copies, and database administration (HANA, Oracle and MSSQL).
  • Apply patches, support packages, and SAP Notes.

Performance & Monitoring:

  • Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis for issues.
  • Implement proactive health checks and EarlyWatch Alerts (EWA).

Security & Compliance:

  • Manage user roles and authorizations in SAP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and audit requirements.

Integration & Cloud Services:

  • Configure SAP systems for integration with cloud platforms in GCP and third-party applications.
  • Support SAP SaaS solutions and Cloud Connector setups.

Incident & Escalation Management:

  • Act as an escalation point for critical SAP Basis issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution of complex problems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, Solution Manager, Fiori, GRC and BTP
