The Department of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, non–tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Scientist level in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine.
The successful candidate will work in the research laboratory of Dr. Jane Yu, supporting studies focused on female prevalent lung diseases and advancing research in woman diseases including tuberous sclerosis complex, lymphangioleiomyomatosis, emphysema, lupus, and cystic fibrosis. The position offers an opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research focused on steroid biology and physiology, cell differentiation, cellular metabolism, biochemistry, cell biology, computational biomedical investigation, preclinical study of drug efficacy, and clinical relevance

The UF Health Science Center and its six colleges are co-located on the Gainesville campus, with additional teaching, research, and patient care sites in Jacksonville, Orlando, other sites across Florida, and internationally. Resources available for professional development at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center include leadership, education, and research tracks within a Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI), formal mentorship programs, and supported opportunities for teaching and research.
