Assistant Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations
  • Supervise, train, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets
  • Deliver and ensure outstanding customer service
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of employees
  • Monitor sales performance and help implement strategies to increase revenue
  • Maintain inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and coordinate replenishment
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet company standards
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Step in to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Basic understanding of retail sales principles and inventory management
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
