Assistant Store Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence. The ideal candidate will spearhead these efforts with a customer-centric attitude.



Responsibilities


  • Actively contribute to the achievement of daily and monthly sales targets by implementing effective upselling techniques and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates and Average Unit Retail (AUR).
  • Foster a high-performance culture by providing real-time feedback and motivation to team members, ensuring the staff remains focused on meeting and exceeding individual and store-wide performance benchmarks.
  • Deliver a premium shopping experience by cultivating long-term client relationships and upholding rigorous standards for service, personalized styling, and brand representation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for complex customer inquiries, resolving escalated issues with a solutions-oriented mindset to maintain brand loyalty and high satisfaction scores.
  • Facilitate the seamless integration of new hires by leading comprehensive training sessions on product knowledge, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and company culture.
  • Manage personnel scheduling and daily shift transitions, ensuring optimal floor coverage to maximize customer engagement during peak traffic hours.
  • Execute floor sets and window displays according to corporate visual directives, ensuring the storefront consistently reflects the brand’s aesthetic and seasonal storytelling.
  • Oversee the accurate placement and rotation of promotional signage and marketing materials to drive traffic and highlight key product launches.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by overseeing replenishment cycles, conducting regular cycle counts, and managing "Back-of-House" organization to minimize shrink.
  • Execute meticulous opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, security protocols, and administrative reporting to ensure a safe and operationally sound environment.


Qualifications


  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Prior work with premium or bridge brands.
  • Customer centric with a positive attitude
