Assistant, Student Success Center - Central Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides administrative support for the Student Success Center and maintains a professional tutoring environment in the absence of the director.
Essential Job Functions:

Provides administrative support. Assists in delegating duties to part-time staff and maintains a professional tutoring environment in absence of the director, reporting any issues to them as needed.
- Answers phones and directs calls as needed. Assists logging students and resources in and out of systems. Provides information on services to students
- Maintains the departmental website and social media as directed.
- Creates, maintains, and tracks work schedule for all tutors and part-time staff.
- Prepares promotional materials for distribution to staff, faculty, and students.
- Prepares reports on Student Success Center operations as directed.
- Assists in planning and conducting tours, meetings, and events.
- Reports any technology or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and creates requisitions for orders and other department expenditures. Performs budget transfers.
- Conducts class and center presentations. Assists with Student Resource Fair to promote services to new students and faculty members.
Additional Job Functions:

Maintains a variety of records, files, and reports. Enters data into TutorTrac system.
- Schedules tutors and students in TutorTrac.
- Assign tutors to class visitations at the beginning of each semester. Conducts class visits as needed.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Required Experience:

One year of administrative, clerical, or customer service experience and previous higher education experience
Preferred Experience:
- One year of previous tutoring center experience
Note: The duties of this position require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location during unrestricted operations with very limited or no opportunity for remote work arrangements.
