Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join the $19.5 Billion Redevelopment Program at JFK Airport in Jamaica, NY. The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for providing support to the Project Managers and Superintendents and responsibilities include but aren't limited to: performing field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team, and reinforcing communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying project schedules, providing additional insights on weekly guidance and rationale for contingencies.
• Join on-site reviews with General Contractors to better understand scope and required coordination for a job.
• Perform field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team.
• Reinforce communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants.
• Coordinate with project management to ensure timely completion of change orders.
• Aid in recognizing and resolving on-site challenges and issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry including equipment, labor, means and methods.
• 3-6 years of building construction experience working on complex projects.
• Experience with Procore, CMiC, MS Office Suites a plus.

Salary: $100,000-$135,000
