Assistant Teacher

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team at our nursery in providing care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and nurturing young minds with prior experience in a nursery or preschool setting to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates residing near Hamdan or nearby area only. Candidates must be willing to work a standard 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule (Monday to Saturday).

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities.
• Assist children with meals, snacks, and feeding.
• Help with diapering, toileting, and maintaining proper cleanliness.
• Support children in learning, play, and creative exploration.
• Help with checking homework, assignments, and practice work.
• Manage small groups during revision, practice, or activities.
• Clarify doubts in subjects like Math, English, Science, etc.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with young children.
• Previous experience in a preschool/daycare setting (preferred).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of early childhood education practices (added advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
