Job description
Educational Quality
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Collaborate with teachers to create stimulating and engaging learning environments that create children’s holistic development.
- Implement effective assessment strategies to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement.
Operation & Staff Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursery and ensure the seamless functioning of the nursery across all departments.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high standards of health, safety, and education.
- Stay updated with educational trends and best practices, integrating them into nursery programs.
- Create a supportive environment that promotes staff welfare and professional growth.
- Manage and supervise nursery staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and motivation.
- Manage staff ROTA, class timetables, breaks, and other schedules efficiently.
Admissions & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate effectively to enhance the nursery's promotions and community engagement.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their children's development and progress through Kinderpedia.
- Conduct tours for prospective parents and manage admissions, ensuring appropriate class allocations.
- Create strong engagement with parents, addressing concerns and organizing parent workshops and meetings.

- Administration & Crisis Management
- Manage administrative tasks efficiently, including budgeting, scheduling, record-keeping and oversee the maintenance and facility.
Compliance and Regulatory Standards
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and update practices accordingly.
- Ensure compliance and adherence with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies and protocols in alignment with regulatory & organizational standards.
- Monitor compliance across all operational areas and update policies as needed.
Branding and Financial Stability
- Strategically work to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community and the industry.
- Contribute to financial stability by optimizing resources and exploring growth opportunities including supplementary revenue strategies.
Reporting and Communication
- Prepare regular reports on nursery operations, progress, and challenges for higher management.
- Maintain clear and open communication channels with staff, parents, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other functions or departments in the group like Marketing, Finance & HR to ensure required outputs are achieved promptly.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance communication with stakeholders like Kinderpedia.
- Address issues promptly and effectively, employing strong problem-solving skills.
- Handle emergencies and unexpected situations with calm and composure.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement measures to enhance efficiency and quality.
