About Children of America (COA)

Children of America combines people, principles, and pride to create a supportive and diverse workplace. We serve children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before & After Care, and Summer Camp.

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll join a talented team of educators, grow professionally, and share your passion for early childhood education.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with daily lesson plans and classroom activities

  • Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

  • Document and report child progress using technology

  • Communicate with children, parents, and team members professionally

  • Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development

  • Demonstrate creativity, passion, and engagement in your work

  • Grow into a Lead Teacher role over time

Who You'll Work With

  • Children ages 6 weeks – 12 years

  • Parents and guardians

  • Teaching staff and management

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

  • Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations
