Assisted Living Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial spaces and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are sanitized, clean, and welcoming for guests and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle carpet cleaning duties to ensure carpets are well-maintained and free from stains.
• Launder residents clothing.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and properly stored.
• Manage housekeeping supplies effectively, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness.
• Assist in housekeeping management tasks when required, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety procedures related to cleaning tasks.
• Physical stamina is required; candidates should be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus but not essential.
