What is Assistant Manager Bank Reconciliation - MMBL?

MMBL is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Manager Account Reconciliation to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all reconciliation processes, contributing to the financial health and operational excellence of the bank.

What Assistant Manager Bank Reconciliation - MMBL Does?

• Perform daily bank reconciliations for all internal and correspondent bank accounts , including corporate clients, merchants, nano-lending, and insurance products.
• Manage daily reconciliations for ATMs, IBFTs, core banking, and branchless banking accounts .
• Maintain a solid understanding of settlement processes with 1-Link and RAAST .
• Report all reconciliation activities and outcomes to management daily via dashboards .
• Identify and implement digitization opportunities to support the bank’s digital transformation agenda .
• Train operations staff on new digital processes and reconciliation automation.
• Ensure strict adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct and uphold high standards of competency and skill.
• Collaborate with Business, IT, and Finance teams on system development and process enhancements.
• Possess strong knowledge of Core Banking (T-24) and Branchless Banking (CPS) systems.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of reconciliation digitalization and automation tools .
• Exhibit excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills .
• Show strong planning, organizing, analytical, and reporting abilities with great attention to detail.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the line manager.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Assistant Manager Bank Reconciliation - MMBL?

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution (mandatory).
• MBA or a degree in Computer Sciences will be preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial bank , microfinance bank (MFB) , fintech , or IT industry .
