Key responsibilities
• Manages a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels.
• Develops profitable business with new/existing customers (with support from more experienced colleagues).
• Possesses analytical ownership and provides analysis/insights to support (Senior) Key Account Manager with customer plans.
• Applies detailed category/product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client business.
• Assists (Senior) Key Account Manager in customer management responsibilities.
• Handles routine customer enquiries as directed by (Senior) Key Account Manager.
• Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
• In charge of sales expansion, introducing new products/services to clients and organizing visits to current and potential clients.
• Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies using available marketing programmes to reach designated targets.
• Informs the clients about new products and services as they are introduced.
• Ensure policies, standards and procedures are followed.
• Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.
• Ensures that clients receive high-quality customer service.
• Informs clients about new products and services as they are introduced.
• In close corporation with own manager achieve sales targets and outcomes within the budget.
• Prepares data analysis and reports to evaluate previous initiatives and provide insights on future initiatives to be included within customer plan.
Educational background/experience
• Advanced/well developed skills and knowledge within a specific discipline acquired either through significant years of experience (10-15 years + special training) or
combination of formal education and 5-6 years of relevant work experience
• University Degree
