Engagement Profile
The role would primarily involve:

Advising clients on matters relating to Direct and Indirect Taxation (Income Tax, GST, Customs, etc.);

Providing legal counsel on tax disputes, compliance issues, and regulatory proceedings;

Drafting appeals, replies, petitions, applications, rejoinders, legal advisories, memos, and other court documents;

Managing extensive case documentation with a professional approach, and adapting quickly to digital tools such as Zoho and Microsoft Teams;
-
Supporting clients through litigation, investigations, quasi-judicial proceedings, and general tax advisory matters;
-
Conducting legal research and handling filings before tax authorities and tribunals in coordination with clerks and support staff;

Contributing to the firm’s knowledge database through case law compilations, statute summaries, white papers, etc.
Requirements

Must be a qualified Advocate (LL.B.), enrolled with the Bar Council of India. Qualified Chartered Accountant.
