Associate Attorney

Laird Cowley, PLLC, a Montana law firm with offices in Missoula and Helena, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.

Responsibilities

An Associate Attorney will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough factual investigation and legal research necessary to develop litigation strategies, including development of dispositive motions.
• Drafting legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
• Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations pertaining to areas of practice.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support in complex legal matters.
• Maintaining organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.

Requirement: Applicants must have a Montana Bar License or the ability to obtain one.

• Applicants licensed, or interested in becoming licensed, in Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Colorado are strongly encouraged to apply.
