Associate Attorney

Overview
We are a small personal injury firm in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, looking for an associate attorney.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough legal research and writing.
• Work cases through all stages of litigation.
• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Assist in the preparation of cases for trial, including organizing evidence and witness statements.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure efficient workflow within the law office.

Basic qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Kentucky.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience or coursework in workers' compensation law or personal injury law.
• Strong writing skills with a focus on legal drafting.
• Proven ability to conduct effective legal research and analysis.
