Associate Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to personal injury and litigation. This role requires excellent reading and writing skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents including motions effectively. The Associate Attorney will work closely with the partner and clients to provide comprehensive legal support and representation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses and demands etc.
• Represent clients in negotiations and personal injury litigation.
• Provide legal advice on matters related to personal injury law and general litigation .
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' interests.
• Collaborate with senior attorney on case strategy and client management.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in New York.
• 1 year of previous experience in a law office setting is preferred.
• Strong writing skills with a focus on legal drafting.
• Proven ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client communication and relationship building. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
