Associate Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney with stellar legal drafting skills to to join our team at a fast paced boutique law firm. The Associate Attorney will have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from seasoned attorneys and gain hands on experience in many areas of civil litigation: business, family, agriculture, real estate, among others. This position is perfect for the candidate who loves to write.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions to develop case plans.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation for all matters handled.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida bar and active license to practice law.
• Proven experience in legal drafting and litigation.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing individual caseloads.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
• Energetic, self-starter with a positive attitude that is adaptable, takes initiative, and works well under pressure.
• A character that values honesty, integrity and an unwavering commitment to putting the interests of the clients first
