Job Description: Finance Associate (3–5 Years)

Position: Full-Time | On-Site

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Associate with 3–5 years of finance law experience to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in documenting and negotiating commercial lending transactions and a solid understanding of complex financial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for commercial lending transactions, including asset-based lending (ABL), cash flow loans, and specialty or lender finance matters .
• Handle private client-focused facilities such as employee co-invest lines of credit, management company lines of credit, NAV-based financings, and subscription lines of credit .
• Manage both secured and unsecured financing transactions .
• Support and coordinate complex transactions while collaborating closely with cross-functional and cross-border teams .
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and maintain high-quality legal work standards.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of finance law experience at an Am Law firm or financial institution.
• Strong background in commercial lending and finance documentation .
• Experience with both secured and unsecured financings .
• Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be willing to work on-site in our New York office .
