Associate Attorney

Litigation boutique in Houston, Texas. The firm actively handles all aspects of civil litigation, from the simplest cases to multi-party complex litigation, on a wide range of legal issues in both State and Federal Courts. Our Houston office is currently looking for a talented, focused, and self-driven Associate Attorney to join our team. This position is perfectly suited to a candidate with the ability to analyze challenging and complex legal issues, and with prior experience in managing a volume of cases, shifting priorities, and meeting ongoing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:

· Case development, investigation, and evaluation

· Comprehensive client reporting and communication

· Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial

· Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery

· Manage caseload and prioritize deadlines

· Maintain a detailed record of billable hours

Requirements:

· J.D. from accredited law school (Top 20-25% graduating class rank preferred)

· Licensed to practice in Texas

· 4-6 years of litigation experience (preferred but not required)
