Associate Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, family law, personal injury law, civil litigation and regulations, litigation, patent law, and landlord-tenant law. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, and excellent negotiation abilities. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support to clients and the firm while developing your expertise across multiple practice areas.

Responsibilities

  • Make Court Appearances
  • Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and client advisories.
  • Draft clear, precise legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence
  • Support attorneys in preparing for negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials by organizing case files and evidence.
  • Review legal documents for accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure timely submission of filings with courts or regulatory agencies.
  • Engage in client consultations to gather information and provide updates on case progress under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar or eligibility for admission within a designated timeframe.
  • Demonstrated experience or coursework in estate planning, family law, personal injury law, civil litigation.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Excellent negotiation skills complemented by a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Prior legal administrative experience is preferred but not required; a keen attention to detail is essential. Pay: $82,677.66 - $120,000.00 per year
