Experience: 3-4 years PQE
Location: Mumbai

We are inviting applications for the position of Associate in the General Corporate Practice at our Mumbai office. The role is suited for candidates with relevant experience in corporate transactions, due diligence, and documentation. Applicants should have demonstrable experience in real estate transactions.

Role & Responsibilities

• Advising on diverse non-litigation corporate and commercial matters
• Conducting and preparing legal due diligence reports, including corporate and property / title diligence.
• ⁠Assisting in structuring real estate transactions, including compliance with RERA, registration laws and local laws.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional and commercial documentation
• Assisting on transaction structuring and execution
• Identifying legal and transactional risks arising in transactions

Required Skill Sets

• Strong drafting and transactional documentation capability
• Sound understanding of corporate and commercial transactions
• Experience in conducting legal due diligence, including risk identification
• Ability to critically evaluate documents and assess legal / transactional risks
• Demonstrable experience in real estate transactions
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
