Associate Attorney

Overview
We are seeking an Attorney with 5 or more years of experience to handle business, real estate and estate planning/estate transitions. The ideal candidate will step into a bustling 27 year old business and will have the opportunity to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct legal representation to clients
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration and litigation
• Participate in client meetings by providing legal insights and ensuring all documentation aligns with client objectives
• Collaborate with the team on administrative tasks including case management, filing, and research

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• WSBA Member
• Proven experience or coursework in estate planning, estate transitions, business and real estate
• Strong legal research skills utilizing LexisNexis
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafting
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
