Associate Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation, personal injury, tribal law and regulations, litigation, patent law, and landlord-tenant issues. The Associate Attorney will be instrumental in providing comprehensive legal support, conducting in-depth research, drafting legal documents, and assisting in negotiations. Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and legal opinions
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, negotiations, and client meetings by organizing case files and evidence
  • Support estate planning efforts by drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
  • Provide guidance on environmental law compliance and regulatory issues affecting clients’ operations
  • Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
  • Maintain comprehensive records of case developments and ensure adherence to deadlines and procedural requirements

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction(s)
  • Proven experience or strong familiarity with multiple legal practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, or patent law
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with legal drafting and administrative tasks within a law office setting
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex cases effectively
  • Familiarity with legal research techniques and tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
