Associate Attorney

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our boutique legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in immigration law and exposure to family law. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, be proficient with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis, and demonstrate a passion for delivering comprehensive legal support. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing legal counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting thorough research, and supporting litigation efforts to ensure our clients’ needs are met with professionalism and precision.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with clarity and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing evidence, drafting motions, and coordinating with clients and witnesses.
• Provide expert guidance on estate planning strategies on cases
• Support attorneys in negotiations with clients or opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay current on evolving laws and regulations through ongoing research to provide informed advice to clients.

Skills

• Proven experience or strong interest in immigration law and family law.
• Exceptional research skills utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafts.
• Strong negotiation abilities to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures across various practice areas.
• Legal drafting of pleadings, motions and other legal documents.

Pay: $79,385.95 - $100,000.00 per year
