Associate Attorney

Firm is looking for an associate attorney with a minimum of 3-5 years of civil, family, and/or criminal litigation experience. Attorney may work remotely or at our downtown San Diego office. Responsibilities include client intake, client relations, drafting/filing pleadings, appearing at criminal/civil hearings, and assisting lead attorney in all aspects of firm management. We are a small firm that has historically had 1-3 employees at any given time, however we are currently in the process of expanding our staff and practice areas. This is not your typical attorney position. The attorney will need to be able to work independently, travel to courts throughout Southern California, and be willing to learn different areas of the law. Firm has a laid back atmosphere, but is often extremely busy. Owner is hoping to find an associate that has the skills and desire to ultimately move into a managerial role. This position could be part-time or full-time, and if you prefer to maintain your own practice, we would consider providing work on a contract basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $120.00 per hour
