Criminal Defense Attorney (Family Law Experience Preferred)

Meade Law Group is seeking a motivated, courtroom-ready Criminal Defense Attorney to join our growing firm. While this role will primarily focus on Criminal Defense, we are actively expanding our Family Law practice, and experience in family law is strongly preferred — though not required.

This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants to help grow and shape a developing family law division while maintaining a strong criminal defense caseload.

• Primary Responsibilities:

-Handle criminal defense matters from arraignment through trial

-Appear regularly in court and manage hearings, negotiations, and litigation strategy-Assist in building and expanding the firm’s family law practice

-Represent clients in family law matters (divorce, custody, support) as assigned

-Provide strategic, client-centered advocacy in high-stakes cases

• Qualifications:

-Licensed Tennessee Attorney in good standing

-Criminal defense experience preferred but not required

-Family law experience preferred but not required

-Strong courtroom presence and case management skills

-Driven, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
