ROLE OVERVIEW
Global Rescue LLC is seeking to hire an Associate Business Analyst for its Islamabad office. This is an entry level position requiring the incumbent to have strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate should also have good grasp of English language and creative abilities to come up ideas for solutions to client requirements.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Requirements Documentation: Lead end-to-end product delivery from roadmap definition and prioritization through cross-functional collaboration, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement, while transforming gathered information into clear, comprehensive, and well-structured business requirements and functional documentation—including swimlane diagrams, use cases, flow and sequence diagrams, future-state proposals, and UAT plans—to ensure solutions align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to comprehensively understand and document business objectives, processes, and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Communication and Engagement: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer needs and strategies through both formal and informal communication. Facilitate project meetings and deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including senior management, business teams, and technical staff.
  • Project Documentation: Develop and manage essential project documentation, including issue logs, meeting minutes, schedules, project summaries, and updates.
  • Information Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into detailed insights, and identify business process/system inefficiencies.
  • System Integration: Verify that system requirements align with business needs, ensuring seamless integration and implementation of new systems or system features.
  • Development and Testing Support: Work closely with developers to implement requirements, offer guidance to testers in developing test plans and cases, and ensure implemented solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business process documentation, design, and analysis; business process workflow preferable working for the enterprise level applications.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Experience of UML modeling, documenting use cases, creating mocks and wireframes.
  • Proven ability to understand IT projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives and business processes, and the ability to effectively present those concepts to both IT and non-IT audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
