Job Title: Associate Chemist

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Associate Chemist to support the development, evaluation, and application of advanced stationary phases for High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and analytical methods for biopharmaceutical analysis. This position involves both hands-on laboratory work and technical analysis to support R&D, product method development, and customer application testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and apply analytical methods for the testing of biologic drug products, including monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), bispecific antibodies, ADCs, fusion proteins, AAVs, and RNA therapeutics.
- Perform HPLC/UPLC-based separations using various detection techniques to evaluate the performance of chromatography columns and stationary phases.
- Prepare samples, mobile phases, and reagents in support of application testing and method development workflows.
- Analyze test data and compile technical summaries, contributing to method performance reports and customer-facing application notes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation; evaluate and implement emerging technologies.
- Prepare technical documents including method SOPs, method transfer records, and method transfer protocols.
- Assist with customer support by executing methods for product evaluation, providing data, and answering application-related questions.
- Participate in maintaining lab compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in analytical testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC systems and familiarity with method development and system troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of techniques such as ELISA, FLD, UV-VIS, RID detection, and basic polymer or protein characterization.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting experimental results with attention to detail and data integrity.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
