About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated mid-level litigation associate to join our White Plains team. The ideal candidate has a background in Data Breach litigation, thrives in high-pressure environments, and is ready to hit the ground running with active matters. This role offers significant courtroom exposure, hands-on case management, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge legal issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court during all phases of litigation, including pre-trial motions, depositions, discovery, and trial
  • Handle all aspects of complex civil litigation from case inception through resolution, including client meetings, drafting legal documents, and negotiating settlements
  • Prepare and file legal documents in both state and federal courts, ensuring procedural compliance and effective case management
  • Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to prepare cases for trial
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies tailored to each matter
  • Provide clear and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the litigation process
  • Stay current with relevant laws, court rules, and legal developments to provide the highest caliber of representation

Qualifications

  • NY Bar admission required
  • Several years of litigation experience
  • Experience in state and federal court
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
  • Strong organizational abilities; able to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Law journal, moot court, or trial team experience strongly preferred
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the White Plains, NY
