Associate Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. This role involves performing a wide range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and more. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our staff to ensure a positive experience for all patients while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
• Perform various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide exceptional patient care.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options available.
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in the clinic.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Experience with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy is essential.
• Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and communication.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
