Associate Dentist

<Duties>

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal treatments, extractions, and prosthodontics.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, performing oral examinations, and utilizing dental imaging techniques.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent.
• Execute dental procedures with precision using aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Manage medical records meticulously, including documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Perform dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), and other complex procedures requiring detailed knowledge of oral anatomy and dental fabrication techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and related fields to provide the highest standard of care.
• Thursday 8-5pm and and Friday 7-2pm

<Skills>

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
• Expertise in pediatric dentistry and experience working with children is highly desirable.
• Skilled in performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and other restorative procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while explaining treatment options clearly.
• Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures.
• Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment or clinic setting is preferred.
