Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps team. The ideal candidate will assist in building, maintaining, and securing our CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and virtualized infrastructure. Youll collaborate with developers, system administrators, and security teams to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support deployment automation using Jenkins, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Manage and maintain containerized applications in development and production environments.
• Work with GitHub, GitLab for source control, branching, and merging workflows.
• Manage virtual infrastructure using VMware,Hypervisor,DigitalOcean,AWS and assist in provisioning and scaling virtual machines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Implement and maintain basic network configurations, firewalls, and connectivity for application environments.
• Collaborate with the security team to apply best practices for system hardening, access management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Participate in continuous improvement of DevOps processes and tools.

Job Requirements:

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, and Jenkins pipelines.
• Experience working with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere or similar virtualization technologies.
• Intermediate Level understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Awareness of security best practices in DevOps environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build automation.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
