Position Overview:

The Associate Director – Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) Category Management plays a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end category management of OS&E within RSG Luxury hospitality activity sector. This position goes beyond traditional procurement to encompass sourcing, supplier and key account management, commercial development, inventory oversight, and category profitability. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen and deep product knowledge, capable of building and maintaining value-driven relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Ideal candidates will bring robust experience in category management from both hospitality and retail environments, with a proven ability to align operational excellence with financial performance and customer satisfaction
Job Responsibilities:

Lead and execute comprehensive OS&E category strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring product availability, commercial competitiveness, and operational excellence across all hospitality assets.

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the OS&E category, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management, pricing strategy, and profitability tracking.

Act as the key commercial and relationship lead for OS&E, managing vendor partnerships and internal key accounts, ensuring service levels, value delivery, and continuous product innovation.

Monitor market trends, benchmark pricing, and analyze buyer–supplier dynamics to drive cost optimization and supply continuity.

Forecast demand and purchasing volumes in collaboration with customer operations and finance teams to ensure efficient stockholding, timely replenishment, and alignment with seasonal or project-based needs.

Lead supplier negotiations and contract development, ensuring favorable terms, price stability, service reliability, and compliance with procurement policy.

Manage the full RFQ process for high-value or strategic purchases, ensuring a minimum of three competitive and compliant quotations in accordance with policy.

Oversee daily purchasing operations, including PO issuance, delivery coordination, and updating of expected delivery timelines to meet hotel operational needs.

Ensure consistent validation and updating of supplier pricing lists and quotation records, maintaining full documentation for audit readiness and policy compliance.

Collaborate Operations teams to identify new product opportunities, trial innovative items, and maintain a best-in-class OS&E assortment aligned with brand standards.

Review and approve variance reports related to pricing or quantity discrepancies in delivered items, resolving issues in coordination with customers and suppliers.

Identify and implement standing orders and delivery schedules for high-consumption OS&E items to optimize ordering efficiency and reduce lead times.

Proactively manage obsolete and non-moving inventory through system updates, internal communication, and liquidation or disposal processes.

Submit accurate, timely monthly performance reporting on sales and profit vs budget, spend, savings, forecast, inventory health, supplier performance, and other key SCL and Category Management metrics.

Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and compliance standards across all procurement activities.

Foster a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Qualification and Experience
:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

15 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing or category management, supply chain management coming from Hospitality and Retail industry.
